Lyday Farms had their best show ever at the 2007 Egyptian Event. The highlight of the show was LF Triumphant Star taking Reserve Champion in Futurity Straight Egyptian Filly – 2 year olds and then triumphantly taking everyone by surprise by winning Reserve Junior Champion Filly in the championship class. We are happy to announce she now has a new home in North Carolina.
Another great accomplishment was our foundation mare, Princess Tammen, won the title of Leading Mare at this years Event. Princess has been our most notable brood mare and has produced at a consistently high level when crossed with Thee Desperado. She has given us four magnificent fillies in a row, all of which have proved to be competitive in the show ring.
In addition, Bryan Jeffries’s efforts as a trainer were greatly rewarded. Black Pearl WP and LS Thee Finale took Reserve Champion in their class and were shown in the championship classes and Infidel’s Blessing went Top Ten in two amateur classes.
Congratulations to Rosemarie Kolster from Authentic Egyptian Arabians in Hollern, Germany on the purchase of
Antares Al Adeed and White Diamonds.
With the upcoming addition of six foals in 2007, Lyday Farms is uniquely positioned to help jump start the breeding programs of other farms with world class broodmares and show prospects.
